Job Summary:
Burlington Beer Company is seeking a full-time Marketing and Events Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual with a deep love of craft beer and a strong background in marketing and event management. This on-site position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will assist the brewery owner and other managers in enhancing the Burlington Beer Co. brand through effective digital strategies, creative content development, event coordination, and customer communication.

Duties and responsibilities:

Marketing:
- Create and schedule engaging content with high-quality photos, videos, and copy for social media posts, ads, and general needs while adhering to our marketing pillars.
- Monitor and manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Untappd, TikTok, etc.), ensuring timely and engaging responses to direct messages and comments.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and schedule content across all digital channels.
- Create digital and print advertising materials as needed and as directed.
- Aligning social media strategy with business objectives.
- Planning and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with influencers and partners for co-marketing initiatives and strengthen relationships with social media influencers.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving social media elements.
Events
- Coordinate and assist in the planning, marketing and execution of on-site branded events (e.g. anniversary party) and off-site events (e.g. large beer festivals).
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and community partners.
- Represent JOBsNewsO at beer festivals, non-profit events and other promotional activities.
Supervisory responsibilities:
This position has no regular direct reports, but may supervise employees scheduled to work special events.
Required skills/abilities:
- It is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of the regulations relating to the marketing, advertising and service of alcohol.
- Strong analytical skills to track expenses and work within a budget.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional attitude.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain positive relationships.
Education and experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, as well as four years of marketing, communications, and events experience at a regional or national craft brewery.
- Passion and enthusiasm for craft beer, community engagement and creative marketing.
- You must be 21 years or older, possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean record.
Physical requirements:
Ability to:
- Standing, walking, and managing physical setups for events are regularly required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require.
