Disneyland has a dire warning for anyone left out of the sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash event and thinking about paying double, triple or quadruple for tickets from an online reseller: Buyer beware.
Scalpers have listed more than 600 tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash, selling for between $134 and $189, for as much as $900 on Stubhub, according to Mouse Planet.
“If Disney can identify the sellers of these tickets, they will be able to revoke them,” according to MousePlanet.

Tickets sold out in just 11 days for the annual Halloween event taking place over 27 select nights from August 25 to October 31 at Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland has cracked down on scalpers selling tickets to after-hours, separately ticketed events on eBay, but that hasn’t stopped scalpers from listing tickets on StubHub for the popular Halloween event.
But buying Oogie Boogie Bash tickets through a scalper is a bad idea.
“Disney has demonstrated that it can work with the site to obtain the identities of resellers, void their tickets and revoke their Magic Key passes when appropriate,” according to MousePlanet.

Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash cannot be resold once purchased, according to Disneyland officials.
Disneyland resort teams have a process in place to investigate resold tickets that may be voided when appropriate, according to Disneyland officials.
The terms and conditions of ticket sales are clearly explained on the Disneyland website.
- Disneyland tickets are non-transferable and cannot be sold.
- Theme park reservations will be void if transferred or sold.
- Disney may cancel any ticket at any time for any reason.
- Disneyland tickets are non-refundable.

Magic Key holder Andrew Rich found out the hard way that Disneyland has a Magic Key Review Board and Revocation Team after he sold a pair of Sweethearts’ Nite tickets on eBay and had his annual pass revoked for a year.
Rich sold Sweethearts Night tickets for more than their face value, violating Disneyland’s terms and conditions, according to Disneyland officials.

There’s still a way to get into this year’s sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash event, especially if you don’t mind paying $900 per ticket.
The Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour allows up to eight people to enter the event with a tour guide for eight hours, plus priority access to Villains Grove, reserved viewing of the Frightfully Fun Parade, plus exclusive food, drinks and souvenirs, all for between $7,500 and $8,500 depending on the date.
The 5-hour after-party held on select dates starts at 6pm every night and mixing begins three hours earlier.
