Briefly about the Bangladesh Navy
In 1971, the official journey of the Bangladesh Navy began during the War of Independence. During the war of independence, the naval commando team formed by a few sailors and young freedom fighters and the direct participation of only 2 gunboats “Padma” and “Palash” and their operations hastened the attainment of Bangladesh’s independence. With the passage of time and the foresight and dedicated efforts of the Honorable Prime Minister, the Bangladesh Navy has become a three-dimensional Navy today.

Bangladesh Navy 2024 Application Ineligibility
If dismissed or removed from the Army, Navy, and Air Force or any Government service. Twice Freed Out/Rejected by ISSB (once freed out and once rejected can apply). However, candidates who have been friended out/rejected 2 (two) times before obtaining a Graduate/Master/equivalent degree will be eligible to participate in ISSB subject to obtaining a Graduate/Master/equivalent degree after a minimum of 5 (five) years. If disqualified by the Appellate Medical Board of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. If convicted by any court. If married or engaged to a foreign national. Incomplete, defective, and multiple applications in the same name will be considered rejected.
