University of Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad has proposed to conduct a round of admissions for its MTech courses. Candidates who have cleared the GATE exam are eligible to apply.
The University of Hyderabad has opened admissions for the following MTech courses: Bioinformatics, Materials Engineering, Nanoscience and Technology, Manufacturing Science and Engineering, Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics Technology and VSLI Design.
The MTech programme in Bioinformatics has a total of 17 seats. These seats are distributed as follows: 3 seats for General category, 4 seats for SC, 2 seats for ST, 5 seats for OBC, 2 seats for EWS and 2 seats for physically challenged. Similarly, Materials Engineering and Nanoscience and Technology have a total of 18 seats while Manufacturing Science and Engineering, Integrated Circuit Technology and Microelectronics and VSLI Design have 18, 15 and 3 seats respectively.

University of Hyderabad: Documents for selection round
Candidates wishing to appear for the report are advised to bring the originals as well as a photocopy of the following documents:
– Class 10 marksheet of candidates seeking admission
– Mark sheet of class 12 applicants
– BTech, BE, MSc or any other qualifying graduation mark sheet (provisional)
– Reservation category certificate like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD certificate (if applicable)
– The candidate’s valid GATE score card
Candidates are also advised to visit the official website: acad.uohyd.ac.in for more information regarding the courses offered, eligibility criteria, fee payment and reservation policy of the university.
It is important to note that only candidates who have a valid GATE scorecard should appear for spot round admissions.
