Based in Atlanta, Georgia, this position works directly with assigned Blake’s Beverage Co. wholesalers and their sales team and management to promote sales of Blake’s brands overall while meeting or exceeding distribution and volume goals. The RSM establishes and maintains a professional sales relationship with key retailers and distributors within the assigned territory with the goal of continuous improvement at all levels of sales and distribution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports the core values, purpose and philosophy of Blake’s Beverage Co.
- Maintains constant communication with the Regional Director, Wholesale Brand Manager and other Key Management contacts at assigned Distributors, Distributor sales force and key retailers across all business segments including On Premise and Off Premise Independents, On Premise and Off Premise Chain accounts, as well as Events and Special Venues.
- Develop quarterly goal lists based on goals and objectives in support of the Annual Brand Plan.
- You must be able to analyze and develop sales opportunity data and reports from VIP software or other company-provided sales software.
- Use VIP/Karma to organize workflow, document sales call frequency, and communicate market activity and opportunities to distributors.
- Develops and maintains proactive and positively beneficial relationships with wholesale and retail accounts.
- Conduct ongoing brand training with retailers, distribution partners and consumers.
- Attend all special events and festivals in the territory.
- You may be eligible to travel and support brand initiatives in other markets through Crew Drive and Market Blitz activities.
- Performs administrative tasks as assigned (expense reports, monthly work schedule, establishing distribution goals).
- Always maintain a professional image and behavior.
- Able to maintain and report an expense budget within given parameters.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to be measured by stipulated KPIs that indicate and govern individual and collective performance.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities

- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours; ability to work nights and weekends if necessary.
- Understand that during peak times of the year schedules vary and flexibility is essential.
- Excellent organizational, planning and sales skills.
- Minimum five years of experience working in the three-tier distribution system, either with a beer wholesaler or a beverage supplier.
- Strong knowledge of craft beer, hard cider, FMB and all other non-spirit alcoholic beverages, the industry at large and its retailers and consumers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent oral, analytical, written and communication skills.
- Dynamic presentation and public speaking skills
- It is necessary to travel.
Education and/or experience
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
